What is community acupuncture?
Community acupuncture exists as an affordable and abbreviated treatment option compared to one-on-one acupuncture sessions. You are treated in a room with other clients also receiving care. Clients lay comfortably in anti-gravity chairs, sofa chairs or couches during session lasting roughly 30 min.
There's also the added benefit of a group-setting. Think of it like the difference between meditating alone, vs with a group. They both have their benefits.
What happens at sessions?
After you arrive, you will check in, fill out a short form about your symptoms, have a brief 5 min chat w/ Rachel (your acupuncturists) about what you're interesting in focusing on. Then you are treated with needles, rest for 25-30 min and you're on your way!
Please block off about 45 min total for the whole thing (maybe a little more if it's your first time)
